Cancellation Policy

We have a 24 hour cancellation policy here at Purcell Wellness. If you are unable to make your appointment, please cancel within that time. You are subject to being charged in full for your treatment.

Jennifer Johnston
(She/Her/Hers) RMT

Jen (she/her) graduated from massage therapy school in 2001 in Ontario. She moved to BC in 2006 and received provincial certification.

Jen possesses a strong interest between the mind, body and stored sensation. She strongly believes in the body’s ability to heal physical pain and dysfunction.

Her approach to treatment is wholistic and trauma informed, as she incorporates assessment of postural imbalance, Swedish massage techniques, myofascial techniques and breath work, craniosacral therapy and visceral manipulation therapy. Her focus is to listen, both with her hands and her heart.

Her treatments include focused individual treatment plans that best assist her clients towards a healthy lifestyle and realistic goals.

Through careful attention to both verbal and non verbal cues, Jen creates a safe space where clients feel heard, understood and supported.

When Jen is not working, you can find her wandering the forest, mountains and rivers as well as making art and mountain biking.

The Purcell mountains and surrounding ranges provide the perfect landscape for her love of nature and outdoor pursuits.

She would like to acknowledge that she is living and working on the unceded traditional territory of the Ktunaxa nation.

Mr. Mark Mcinnis
(He/Him/His)

Mark McInnis Osteopathic Practitioner

Mark trained in manual Osteopathy in Toronto at the Canadian College of Osteopathy and received a Diploma in Osteopathic Manual Practice in 2010.

His practice includes a range of techniques and treatment approaches taught in manual osteopathy: including soft tissue therapy and craniosacral therapy with the primary goal of releasing, realigning and balancing the body and its’ functions.

Marks practice style is patient centred and techniques are primarily informed by a Biodynamic approach of cranial Osteopathy and is currently studying postgraduate biodynamics developed by James Jealous D.O.

He is happy to call Kimberley his new home and likes to spend his free time in the mountains, skiing in the winter, and hiking in the summer with his dog.

Currently he is an active member of Osteopathy BC and issues Osteopathic treatment receipts for insurance reimbursement.
